Years later, Om dies in a car accident, but his spirit doesn't rest. He is visited by a fairy named Poo (Deepika Padukone), who tells him that he has to complete his unfinished journey on earth and protect his film's lead actress, Shanti (Shriya Saran), from a villainous film producer, Rakesh Bahl (Kunal Khemu).
