With Sam and Jay away for a romantic weekend, the ghosts are forced to work together without their usual human conduits. Because ghosts cannot climb solid walls, they are physically unable to help Flower out of the well. In a poignant moment of redemption, Hetty uses the very phone cord that is part of her ghostly "attire" to pull Flower to safety.
