The climax of Episode 1 occurs when Ha-ni and her father arrive at their benefactor's home. As she enters the beautiful house, she is stunned to find that the "kind friend" is actually Seung-jo’s father.

The rest of the episode follows Hae Young's attempts to get closer to Min-woo, despite his initial reluctance. We also meet her best friends, Yeon-joo (played by Yoon Bak) and Yoon-hee (played by Park Geon-hye), who provide comedic relief and advice throughout the series.
