When you squeeze a physical object, your brain creates a mental map of your hand's position. By requiring a squeeze to grab the virtual air or controllers, the software maps your real-world muscle tension directly to the virtual world. You aren't just "pressing a button"; you are engaging your forearm muscles to interact with the environment.
