Invader Zim is an American animated dark comedy series created by Jhonen Vasquez. It originally aired on Nickelodeon from March 30, 2001, to August 19, 2002, though 27 episodes were produced (including one unaired in the US). The series follows Zim, an inept extraterrestrial from the planet Irk, who is sent on a fake mission to conquer a worthless planet: Earth. He is opposed by his paranoid nemesis, Dib Membrane.
