The DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) is the for legacy DirectX (9.0c to 11) plus the D3DX helper library (version 43). It is not the same as the OS DirectX runtime. It remains essential for running thousands of Windows games from 2005–2015 that were built with the June 2010 DirectX SDK. No later redistributable exists — it's the definitive last release.
