in Parsec is a host-side GPU encoding failure . It occurs when the Parsec host computer (the machine you are trying to connect to ) cannot initialize its hardware video encoder. Parsec relies heavily on GPU hardware encoding (NVENC for NVIDIA, AMF for AMD, Quick Sync for Intel) to achieve low latency. When that encoder is unavailable, Parsec throws error 14004.
If another app is using the hardware encoder, Parsec will fail with 14004. parsec error 14004
