Their journey is deliberately low-tech: they share auto-rickshaws, read physical letters, and navigate by instinct rather than GPS. The film positions this analog wandering as a critique of swipe-right dating culture. Yet, paradoxically, the film itself has found a robust second life on Dailymotion, a platform notorious for hosting unauthorized uploads. This paper asks: What does it mean for a film that champions unfiltered human connection to be consumed through a digital backchannel defined by copyright ambiguity? By analyzing the film’s themes alongside its Dailymotion circulation, I argue that the platform’s gray-market accessibility both subverts and amplifies the film’s central tension—between curated surfaces and messy realities, between what we pay for and what we feel entitled to receive for free.
