Ear Clogged 2 Weeks After - Flight
Two weeks post-flight, ear congestion is no longer considered acute barotrauma but has likely transitioned into or Otitis Media with Effusion (fluid behind the ear). While mild pressure often resolves within hours or days, symptoms persisting for 14 days indicate that the pressure equalization system of the ear has not recovered, or that fluid trapped during the flight has not drained. Medical intervention is now recommended.
