The story begins in Dholakpur during the bustling annual fair. A weary, traveling merchant from the Far East collapses near the palace. Before he is taken to recover, he hands King Indraverma a tattered, cryptic map made of stone tablets. The map points to Petra, the legendary city carved into red cliffs. Legend says the "Gem of the Nabataeans"—a stone with the power to bring rain to drought-stricken lands—lies within its treasury. With Dholakpur facing a mild drought, Bheem volunteers to retrieve it.
