Autumn is widely considered the best season to visit Korea. The humidity of summer vanishes, replaced by crisp, clear blue skies.

Korean summers are intense. While the temperatures on a thermometer may look manageable (often 25°C–35°C / 77°F–95°F), the high humidity makes the heat feel oppressive. This is known as "Ssamjang" weather—too hot to do anything but sit around.
