Flash: Wrye

No article about Wrye Flash is complete without addressing the elephant in the room: its interface was a war crime against user experience. Built on the wxPython framework, it looked like a database management tool from 1998. Buttons were labeled with cryptic verbs like "Repack," "Anneal," "Cbash," and "SSD." There was no built-in tutorial. Right-clicking opened context menus that contained nineteen options, half of which would warn you, "This may break your game."
