Reset - Unraid

Stop the array.

Unraid licenses are tied to the USB GUID. You can re-use the same USB drive. reset unraid

If your USB drive is corrupted or you want a 100% fresh start without keeping old plugin residue: Stop the array

Your OS configuration is broken (e.g., Docker won't start, WebGUI errors), but you want to keep your array data. Docker won't start

Shut down your server and plug the USB drive into another computer. Step 2: Navigate to the /config folder. Step 3: Delete the following files: shadow (this contains the encrypted root password). smbpasswd (this resets Samba/network share passwords). Step 4: Reinsert the USB drive into your server and reboot.
