Zidoo devices run on Realtek chips (typically the RTD1619BDR). These are powerful, "bare metal" chips designed to decode high-bitrate 4K HDR, Dolby Vision, and lossless audio (TrueHD/DTS-HD MA). However, Realtek provides a very rough, bare-bones "SDK" (Software Development Kit) to manufacturers.
