The nightly "Conversations" (Incontri) remained the heart of the festival. Unlike other literary events where authors read strictly from their latest release, Ladri di Biblioteche encourages digression. We saw authors discussing their failures, their unfinished manuscripts, and the books they didn't write. It felt voyeuristic in the best possible way.
