The film opens with each former Bella miserably failing at “adulting.” Beca (Anna Kendrick) is an unhappy music producer’s assistant; Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) works odd jobs; Chloe (Brittany Snow) is failing vet school; Aubrey (Anna Camp) runs a boot camp for rich girls; and Emily (Hailee Steinfeld) struggles to launch her original songs.
