Liam scrambled to unhook the carabiner. Fae dropped the inch to the floor, landing with a soft thud .
"Pay up," she said. "And next week? You're doing the Ice Bath challenge. I’m buying the ice."
"The same as down there," Fae quipped, though her voice was strained. "Just more pressure."
Twenty seconds.
The setup took a few minutes. Liam had to secure a set of heavy-duty climbing hooks to the top bar of the bleachers while Fae waited patiently, scrolling on her own phone. It was bizarrely clinical. There was no fear, just the logistics of a viral video.
"Chat says... The Hanging Wedgie," Liam read, squinting at the screen. "From the bleachers. Oh, that’s brutal, chat. You guys are ruthless."
