Active Directory (AD) is a directory service developed by Microsoft for Windows domain networks. It stores information about objects on the network and makes this information available to administrators and users. ADUC (DSA.msc) is the most widely used interface for managing day-to-day objects within an AD environment, including users, groups, computers, and organizational units (OUs).
