When you enter a town like Nördlingen or Augsburg, the brown signs will suddenly point into a pedestrian zone. Don't panic. The map’s "city center" point is usually a parking garage just outside the wall. Park there and walk.

The Romantic Road is about 350 kilometers (217 miles) long and runs from Würzburg to Füssen, passing through the states of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. It's one of Germany's most popular tourist routes, attracting millions of visitors each year.
