Steven Universe Season 1

The first season of Steven Universe takes place in Beach City, a fictional town where Steven lives with his single mother, Greg Universe, owner of a car wash and repair shop. Steven's father, Greg, had a romantic relationship with the Crystal Gem Rose, who later became a human to be with him. However, their relationship ended, and Rose eventually became a Crystal Gem again. Steven's half-human, half-Gem heritage gives him unique abilities, which he learns to control and use to help his friends.

The season’s tone shifts significantly in the mid-season two-parter which introduces Lapis Lazuli and the concept of an antagonistic Gem Homeworld.
