The story follows three medical volunteers—Gendis, Puput, and Mila—who are sent to a remote village that has been decimated by a deadly plague. While there, they are joined by two gravediggers, Cecep and Deden. The group inadvertently breaks a sacred local taboo——which is believed to invite supernatural spirits.
