After establishing the twins’ differences, the film doesn’t do anything truly clever with the "twin switch" premise. A much more interesting version of this film would have had Kurian slowly becoming like Derrick, or Derrick learning Kurian’s restraint. Instead, they remain archetypes—the angry avenger and the peaceful victim.
