The Alan Parsons Project (APP) stands as a unique anomaly in rock history. Led by the collaborative genius of producer/engineer and songwriter/manager Eric Woolfson , the group functioned as a studio-based collective rather than a traditional band. By the mid-80s, the Project began to repeat its formulas.
