It captures the chaotic energy of the playground. The cards used in the movie became instant holy grails for collectors (who didn't want the Sphinx cards?). It also features arguably the most satisfying moment in franchise history: Joey Wheeler fighting Kaiba. We all know Joey doesn't stand a chance, but seeing him stand up to Kaiba’s disrespect is the emotional core of the film.
