Pcsx2 Save Game Location

PCSX2 generally uses two distinct folders for your progress: memcards (for traditional in-game saves) and sstates (for save states that capture the exact moment in gameplay).

Robo Space Kitty 2m Show all Virtual Memory Cards (.ps2): These are single files that act as an entire 8MB (or larger) physical memory card. They contain all your saves for multiple games. Folder Memory Cards: A modern PCSX2 feature where each game gets its own subdirectory. This prevents memory card "corruption" from affecting all games and makes it easier to manage individual saves. Save States (.p2s): These are snapshots of the exact moment in a game and are stored in the pcsx2 save game location
